Weak or damaged ignition elements may work with a well-charged battery and cool conditions satisfactorily, however, when the electric battery loses its surface area charge, or the container heats up, misfiring shall happen. Low voltage and higher temperature ranges both need the ignition to function harder.
A power car is equivalent to a gas-driven vehicle, except that it's driven by an electric battery, of gas instead.
